Don't Worry Bee Happy

I love daisies. They are so delicate and fresh. They just brighten up a room and definitely put a smile on my face. I woke up yesterday morning and found a vase full of daisies on the table and a husband cooking breakfast. Those surprises are the best kind. The ones that are totally unexpected and stop you in your tracks. The ones that remind you just how loved and blessed you are!!

I shared that with y'all because it was the inspiration for my card today. I pulled out my Honey Bees set from Papertrey Ink and came up with a very fresh Spring card if I do say so myself. I started by cutting out my Kraft panel with a rectangle Nestie. I then masked off the bottom edge and stamped my grass on with VersaMagic Spanish Olive. The little flowers are stamped on Kraft paper as well, with Fresh Snow ink. I cut them out and raised them with dimensionals before adding my little bee. The So Saffron panel and little dots in the center of the flowers are covered with Golden Wheat Shimmerz. That's where the extra happiness comes from. It adds just the right amount of "sunshine" to the card :) To finish it off I tied on a Chocolate ribbon and added some Men's Dew Drops. I followed Mojo 80 for the layout! Speaking of Shimmerz, Lindsey has asked the design team gals to list their favorite products that Jacksonbelle Embellishments carries. Shimmerz was definitely on my list! I love so many of the color, but Celery and Golden Wheat are definitely my most used! Stop by the JBE blog this week to check out what everyone listed! Hope you have a fabulous day!

Stamps: Honey Bees (Papertrey Ink)
Paper: Memory Box Sweetbay, Kraft, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron
Other: circle and rectangle Nesties, dimensional, aquapainter, Golden Wheat Shimmerz, Chocolate polytwill ribbon, Men's Dew Drops
