If you have the right shoes...

It's Chatapalooza V week with my Lostie sistahs! We make time to all be online so we can chat, catch up, giggle together and participate in some fun stamping challenges. My friend Kris is the hostess and the first challenge she issued was to make an uplifting or encouraging card. The first thing that popped into my mind was my Green Thumb set by Papertrey Ink. That set has some really sweet and uplifting sentiments in it, plus it's fun to play with. I chose the shoes because they matched my Basic Grey paper. When we were in N.Y. everyone wore these adorable rain boots when the weather was bad. They were all so cute, so this image reminds me of that. I ran my large Classic Oval Nestabilities through the Cuttlebug; I also embossed it. Then stamped my boot in Palette Burnt Umber and VersaMagic Sea Breeze. I stamped out an additional boot, cut it out and raised it with dimensionals. The edges are sponged with Chocolate Chip. The olive paper is cut out with the large Classic Scallop Oval Nestabilities. To finish it off, I just rounded my bottom corners and added some Chocolate polytwill ribbon. The sentiment reads: You can deal with anything if you have the right shoes. I got this layout from Amy's Friday Sketch #21. Thanks for the inspiration Kris!!! You can check out everyone's creations here.

Stamps: Green Thumb (Papertrey Ink)
Paper: Very Vanilla, Basic Grey - Figgy
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber, Chocolate Chip, VersaMagic Sea Breeze
Other: large Classic Oval & large Classic Scallop Oval Nestabilities, Chocolate Polytwill ribbon, dimensional, corner rounder punch
