Here is the card that I came up with for Mother's Day this year. It is totally inspired by Beate's sample for the Thumping technique. As soon as I saw her card, I had to order the Pretty Petals background and try out the new technique. I also got my color inspiration from her. So thank you Beate!!! I started off by doing my background and it was so easy!!! I just inked it up with Certainly Celery and then took my Taken With Teal marker and thumped it around the stamp. After you stamp it down, it gives it such a beautiful, almost marbled look. I can't wait to try it out with some other stamps! I found this sketch by Jen to use. Isn't it a cool layout? It also still showed a lot of the background which was perfect to show off this new technique.

Stamps: Butterfly Kisses (Papertrey Ink), Canvas, Pretty Petals, Gina K
Paper: Certainly Celery, Taken with Teal, Whisper White, Kraft
Ink: Certainly Celery, Taken with Teal, Palette Noir
Other: Celery grosgrain, Spring Flower punch, Orchid dewdrops, paper piercer, dimensionals, mini glue dots
Technique: Thumping
