Coloring Tutorial

Hey there, it's Tuesday and time for another Jacksonbelle Embellishments challenge. I gotta say, this week's challenge is probably the best one ever (snicker)!!! It's to go through my cards and pick one to CASE. I'm having a blast checking out everyone's cards so far. If you decide to play along, please use the keyword JBE040 when uploading your cards!

As an added treat, I came up with a coloring tutorial. You can find it here on the Jacksonbelle blog. I hope you try out some of my tips!!! I thought I would go ahead and show y'all how I used the image in my coloring tutorial on a card.

I absolutely love this Welcome Home set by Lizzie Anne Designs. It's so much fun to play with and perfect to practice coloring on. I went ahead and added some dimension to the image by raising the tree top, bush and mailbox with dimensionals. I then went over all the green parts with Celery Shimmerz and added a Basic Grey Bittersweet button as the tire swing. Now do you see why I colored my house orange? I used this fabulous pattern paper by Fancy Pants and pulled my color palette directly from it. The layout comes from Sketch Challenge 215. I hope you play along with the challenge this week. If you need some more inspiration, check out what the other gals on the design team came up with:

AJ Otto
Beth Thomas
Heather Lee-Reppen
Jennifer Buck
Jill Dunn
Kisa Peters
Lindsey Botkin
Lynda Benden
Maren Benedict
Melissa Bove
Michelle Worner
Rachel Hope
Shannan Teubner
Taylor Usry

Also be sure to stop in and check out the Jacksonbelle Embellishments store. Lindsey just added some new goodies such as: a ton of wonderful Inka stamps and a huge assortment of new Prima products. Thanks for stopping by!
