Amanda's Oct. 08 Kit

The time has come to share my Halloween kit cards. As I mentioned before, I was in a card kit swap with my Lostie sisters. Everyone sent cardstock, pattern paper and a image, then it was up to you to create a card. It will be fun to see how everyone put them together!!! First up is Amanda's kit. I was actually scared of this one because she stamped the image on acetate and it stumped me all week. So I saved it until this morning. Procrastinator, yes I am! But I'm so glad I did, because I love what I came up with. I just so happened to have this card still sitting on my desk and it inspired me to make a window card out of Amanda's kit. To start off I colored the image that is stamped on white with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. I outlined the little ghost with at Tombow pastel blue marker to make him pop out more. Next I used my Oval Nestabilities and cut out the image (on white cardstock) and the oval on the front of the card. I also cut out the matching scallop piece. To put it all together, I glued the white cardstock image to the inside of the card. I used mini glue dots and adhered my acetate image to the back of the front card, then glued the scallop piece onto the front. Voila, a window card. The fence was a leftover piece from Maggie's kit. See I'm a good recycler. I also made a panel for the back of the front card so it hid the brads and glue dots on the acetate. To see all of the cards made with this kit, click here!

Stamps: Booglie Eyes, Michael's $1 sentiment
Paper: PTI white cardstock
Ink: Whisper White
Other: acetate, Koh-i-noor pencils, OMS, pastel blue Tombow marker, Jo-Ann ribbon, Oval Nestabilities, Black Out glitter brads (Memory Keepers), Martha Stewart Halloween Fence punch, mini glue dots
