Christmas in July

Frances posted this wonderful sketch challenge over in the Hanna Stamps forum on SCS. As an extra challenge, she asked us to make it a Christmas card. I don't think I have ever made a Christmas card this early before. I'm just going to have to remember where I put it once December rolls around! This gave me a chance to ink up one of my new Riley stamps. He is stamped on Very Vanilla with Palette Burnt Umber. I then colored him in with my Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. The tree is cut out and raised with a dimensional. The main image is cut out using my circle Coluzzle. I positioned it so his antler would stick out at the top. The next circle was cut with a combo of the circle Coluzzle and my Magic Matter. The scallop circle is made using my Giga punch. I also broke open my new Christmas paper from TAC called Reece. Love those colors together!!! I poked some holes along the cranberry strip with my paper piercer. The sentiment is from a retired TAC set called Chicken Scratch. Thanks for stopping by!

I am a TAC demo. If you have any question or would like to look at my website where you can view or order our products, just let me know!

how adorable, Kim! I love the paper! It's so hard to imagine Christmas right now, it's so hot and muggy here today. I'm about to go jump in the pool!

How cute! Love seeing the paper, I always debate about the darker colors until I see them used.
