Very Soft Pumpkin Celery

Have y'all seen Kristina's Color Challenge #16? Her inspiration photo is beyond adorable. The challenge was to make a card using Very Vanilla, Soft Sky, Pumpkin Pie and Certainly Celery. I didn't know how they would come together, but heck it actually worked! I used my Lg. Classic Rectangle and Lg. Classic Scallop Rectangle Netabilities to cut out the Vanilla and Soft Sky piece. I pulled out my favorite Gerbera Daisy stamp by TAC. It is stamped with Palette Burnt Umber twice. I colored the image in with my Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS, then I cut out the flower, curled the edges up a bit and glued it on top of the other image. For the center, I dug through my button dish until I found a vanilla one. Then I tied a piece of Celery grosgrain through the holes and glued it down with Crystal Effect. On the Celery strip, I used a new stamp set that I just got in from TAC called Decorative Corners. I luff it!!!!!! I gave the background just a little bit of design, but still kept it simple and elegant. The holes are poked with a paper piercer and the sentiment is from a Gift With Purchase stamp from TAC called For a Friend. Oh and I rounded the bottom corners with a punch.
