I combined two challenges for this card. First, I used Julee's Mojo Monday sketch. Such a cool layout! Next, I decided to play along in Challenge 2 for A-Muse-A-Palooza. The challenge is to make a card using this Vera Bradley print as inspiration. It immediately reminded me of a piece of pattern paper that I had in my stash. It's not exactly paisley, but it includes the same colors. I stamped the Hammock image on Whisper White using Palette Burnt Umber. I then used the Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS to color in my image. The hammock is cut our and raised with a dimensional. I just added little red pieces of cardstock to the corners to make it stand out more. I stamped the sentiment on Kraft paper using Palette Burnt Umber. Then scored 2 tiny lines on each side to make it stand up like that. I used my deckle scissors to cut the ends off and make it look like a board. To finish the card off, I used scallop scissors on the decorative paper, tied on some Bashful Taffeta, added 3 Gumdrop brads and sponged the edges of the Kraft with Ranger Walnut Ink. Hope y'all have a great day!!
