Arigato
Did y'all see today's A-Muse-A-Palooza challenge that Amy posted. My eye bugged out of my head when I first saw it. First, because I was dreading lining up all those circles and second because I didn't think I had an A Muse stamp that small. I was proved wrong on both accounts. I kept reading and saw that Amy had a perfect tutorial on making a template for the circles. I followed it to a tee and it was so easy. All hail Amy!!! I now have my template cut out and ready for more cards using this layout. And did I mention what a cute layout it is. OMGoondess, adorable! Moving on. I was about to give up on finding an image when I remembered I had the Sushi set. The little sandals were the perfect size. I stamped them on my circle with Close to Cocoa and then colored them in with a pink Koh-i-noor pencil and blended with OMS. I sponged the edges with Close to Cocoa to make it stand out on the pink background, then added a teeny, tiny Hero Arts gemstone to the top of each sandal. Each sandal image is raised with a dimensional. Also raised with dimensionals is the Basic Grey pattern paper. I'm so glad I tried this challenge out. I think this turned out to be an adorable notecard. Off to see what everyone else came up with. Happy Stamping!
Stamps: Sushi (A Muse)
Paper: Certainly Celery, Close to Cocoa, Basic Grey - Lilykate, Very Vanilla, pastel pink (A Muse)
Ink: Close to Cocoa
Other: Celery grosgrain, dimensionals, 1 1/4" circle punch, Magic Matter, sponge, Hero Arts gemstones, Koh-i-noor pencils, OMS.
