August Rush

Have you seen August Rush yet?? If not, you MUST!!!! We just got done watching it and we both fell in love with the storyline and music. Definitely on our buy now list. It's about an orphan (Evan/August) who is searching for his parents and believes they can hear one another through music. Freddie Highmore plays August and he is amazing. He has this perfect innocence about him that just draws you in. In fact, the entire movie is full of wonderful performances by Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Keri Russell, Robin Williams and Terrence Howard. It is absolutely mesmerizing how the film uses music as almost it's own character. It was so beautiful and full of so many styles. This is just one of those heart warming movies where you are on the verge of crying at the end yet you are staring at the T.V. screen with the goofiest grin plastered on your face because you are just so darn happy. It was also neat for us because the movie was filmed in NYC and we recognized a ton of places. Mom, you were right! I do love the Arch! Tammi thank you soooooo very much for the CD. We ran in here to listened to it to make sure that it included Jonathan's Moondance and the incredible guitar music. It's going to become one of my favorite CDs for sure! There is not a song on there that I don't like!!
