Penne a la Betsy


Did y'all make anything special for Valentine's dinner last night? I am addicted to Ree's blog, Confessions on a Pioneer Woman. Not only does she post beautiful photos, but she is hilarious and truly a talented writer. Another thing I love is she has a cooking blog, The Pioneer Woman Cooks. It's wonderful because instead of just posting the recipe, she walks you through it with pictures. Love that!!!! So I decided to make Penne a la Betsy last night. Oh My Yum! It was soooooooo super easy and the house smelled delish while it was cooking. Best thing is, it's just the two of us so we had plenty of leftovers! For the wine, I used R.H. Phillips Toasted Head Chardonnay because we both like it and it's always on sale at World Market :-)
