I wasn't motivated to stamp today, until I saw the color challenge on SCS. I have several guy bday cards to make and this challenge was the perfect combo to get me started.
I pulled out my favorite little palm tree stamp from the SU set Do the Hula and colored it using my SU markers. It's layered on a piece of Not Quite Navy cs and Always Artichoke cs. I used my mat pack and paper piercer to punch some holes around the edges.
My card base is Always Artichoke cs. I took a piece of Mellow Moss cs and stamped the Flannel Plaid bg in the same color. I really love that background, it gives your card so much texture. I took a piece of Blue Bazzill cs and tore the edges, then stamped my TAC Great Greetings sentiment along the bottom. The entire back image is glued to a piece of Not Quite Navy cs. To finish it off, I added some hodgepodge hardware and tied a piece of white grosgrain and Sky Blue Karen Foster Scrapper's Floss.
