Sketch Challenge #124

Yippee I finally got this challenge done and I will so be using this sketch again. It's easy and perfect for double sided paper!!! Speaking of paper I found this yummy paper at my LSS not to long ago. It is by imaginisce...I LOVE the blooms and the plaid.

My Lostie sis' Debbie sent me this darling image. It is from Stampendous and I couldn't wait to play with it. I colored my image with SU markers. The wings are done in my Sakura Stardust pen, because all bugs need shiny wings :) I then drew some faux stitching around the edge with my Not Quite Navy marker. The image is then lined with some Certainly Celery cardstock and a giga scallop square punched in Ruby Red. I simply printed out the sketch from the SCS thread and used that as a template to cut my pattern paper since I am challenged when it comes to measuring accurately. I lined my floral pattern paper with a Blue Bazzill cardstock to give it a litte pop.

To finish it off I added a prima and a rhinestone brad by Making Memories. Overall it is a simple card, but it sure is a cheerful one!!
