Mistletoe

Mistletoe in April - I promise the pregnant lady hasn't lost her mind over here :) Mistletoe is the name of this super adorable image from Sugar Nellie. The original image actually has some mistletoe hanging above their heads, but I wanted to change it into an anniversary card. I thought the little couple were too cute squeezing on one another. Our anniversary isn't until August, but I thought I better plan ahead knowing that as soon as a little someone arrives I will be a little preoccupied that month! Now I'll just have to remember where I put it! This card is actually for the Sugar Bowl 34 challenge. As soon as I saw the challenge was a Tiets' sketch, I immediately saved it. I LOVE her layouts - so many fabulous layers!!! I tried coloring hair a little differently here - not too shabby right? I like how the guy's hair turned out. The image was carefully cut out and raised with dimensionals. An extra theme for this challenge was punches. We were asked to use a punch that we've been hoarding. I picked this heart punch from EK Success. I haven't used it in ages, but it fit the sketch and card perfectly! Thanks for stopping by today!!
