Demure Sketch

Have y'all seen The Sugar Bowl Challenge #10 yet? It's this fabulous sketch by Marlene. I love all of the strips that extend to the edges! It's a great way to use up some scraps of paper. I picked out another image that Anna sent me recently (thanks dude). I colored Demure in with Prismacolors and OMS. The pattern paper is Sweetbay by Memory Box. Love the colors in that pack. It remind me of sunny afternoons. At the very last moment, I noticed that we were suppose to use buttons on our card too. So I added one to the middle of my layered primas. I attached it with white Scrapper's Floss then punched out some Rock Ferns to stick in there. I also went around the edges of my base cardstock with Fresh Snow ink. It gave it a nice highlight and it looks great on Kraft paper! Happy Friday. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. We are heading out to see Wolverine in a bit. Can't wait - it looks good!

Stamps: Demure (Sugar Nellie), A Muse sentiment
Paper: Kraft, DCWV Fall cardstock, Sweetbay (Memory Box), So Saffron
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber, Fresh Snow (Papertrey Ink)
Other: Kraft Taffeta, Prismacolor pencils, OMS, Primas, Basic Grey Ambrosia button, white Scrapper's Floss, EK Success Rock Fern punch, Basic Grey Bittersweet brads
