True Light

True Light: A Restoration Novel True Light: A Restoration Novel by Terri Blackstock

My review

rating: 4 of 5 stars
Book 3 in the Restoration series.

This book takes place 8 months after the second one. The main focus is the justice system. Since the pulses are still causing the electricity to be out, the sheriff has found that crime has increased a lot. There are more and more people stealing and killing to get what they want and sometimes the wrong people get accused. Case in point, Mark Green! He is accused of shooting a boy just to take his deer. He learns first hand how people can hold grudges and the poor conditions of the cells where the criminals are being held. I flew through this book because I couldn't wait to see what happened and find out who the real bad guys were. This book has a great lesson about forgiveness and treating others the way you would like to be treated! I'm looking forward to the last book in the series.
