School Riley Sketch

My friend Anna pointed out last week's sketch challenge on SCS to me. I'm so glad she did because it was really fun to play with and worked perfectly for the image I wanted to use today. This is my first time inking up School Riley. I bought him the moment he was released at Hanna Stamps because it's no secret that I'm a huge bookworm. He is just too cute, especially in his big glasses! The main image is cut out with Lg. Classic & Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities. I stamped him with Palette Burnt Umber and then colored him in with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. I paper pieced the book cover on. It was either the book cover or the shorts, but I liked it on the book better! To the side, I added a Creamy Caramel eyelet and tied on some Celery grosgrain. The decorative paper is again from my fabulous secret sis Debbie. I cut it out using a Lg. Classic Square Nestability, then I cut it in half. To add a little somethin', somethin' around the edges, I took my mat pack and paper piercer and poked some holes. Then added some faux stitching with my white gel pen. He's such a cute nerd!!! Happy Stamping.

Stamps: School Riley (Hanna Stamps), So Many Sayings (SU)
Paper: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater (Piggy Tales), White (TAC,V-292)
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber (TAC,TT-218)
Other: mat pack, paper piercer, white gel pen, Lg Classic Square, Lg. Classic & Scallop Rectangle Nestablities, Koh-i-noor pencils, OMS, Creamy Caramel eyelet, Celery grosgrain
