Girlie Chick

September is a busy birthday month. I have 7 cards I need to make so I thought I better get started. I was organizing my Wish-RAK container yesterday and stumbled across this adorable image. It's been awhile since I've used a Calendar Chick so I pulled her out. I think this is one of my favorite Chick images. It's just too darn cute. I cut her out with my Oval Nestabilities. To decorate the scallop oval, I colored in some dots with my white gel pen. The Chick is colored with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. To add a little more shading I went over all of the colors with Twinkling H2Os using my Niji Waterbrush. The colors I used were: Yellow Rose, Key Lime and Pink Azalea. I wish you could see it because it gave a beautiful shimmer to the image. Thanks for stopping by, hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

This is really cute Kim. I like how you used the three different prints papers. I just had mine out this morning and was thinking I need to start using them more.
