Triple Challenge

Two cards and three challenges ... my office is a mess, LOL. Kris issued challenge 2 for Lostie Chatapalooza week. We had to make 2 cards using the same color scheme. However, both cards had to have a different theme and layout. I'm tellin' ya, Kris is crackin' the whip, LOL. The color part was easy, I just used today's color challenge over on SCS. Love that combo!!!! Next up, I needed a layout and I had Julee's Mojo Monday sketch saved on my desktop - Perfect! For the first card, I cut out and embossed the white cardstock with my Classic Oval, lg Nestability. Then cut out the Classic Scallop Oval, lg in the Wasabi. My flower is stamped with Palette Noir. I colored it in with Earth Elements Watercolor crayons, a Taken with Teal reinker and my Niji waterbrush. The flower part is cut out and raised with a dimensional. The small Taken with Teal rectangle is stamped with the Canvas background in the same color. I only put my Wasabi paper halfway into the Cuttlebug folder so it would only emboss the top half. The sentiment comes from TAC and the tiny brads are from Queen & Co. For my second card, I stamped the Rocket on Whisper White, Wild Wasabi and Taken with Teal. Then cut out the Wasbi and Teal parts and paper pieced them onto my white image - yeah no coloring!!! The window is covered in Black Diamond Stickles. It looks so cool, I need to use that more often! I dressed the corners up using my ticket corner punch. I didn't have any Wasabi brads so I just used a tiny hole punch and made some faux brads. The Teal background is embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. Ribbon comes from Jo-Ann. You can view all of the Lostie's cards here.

I am a TAC demo. If you have any question or would like to look at my website where you can view or order our products, just let me know!
