Heartspeak

I got this beautiful image from the Wish RAK group on SCS many, many months ago. I've been scared to color it until now. I used my wonderful Koh-i-noor pencils on it and they worked perfectly! I'm slowly getting the hang of using them. I need to work on shadowing now and not over-coloring the image in. I added a little Stardust Stickles to each flower so it's nice and sparkly. Who wouldn't love a bouquet of sparkly flowers?? I've used this layout before and it has quickly become one of my favorites. It comes from this card that I saw on Jen's blog. I sponged the edges of the Kraft cardstock with Close to Cocoa. The blue background is a piece of Blue Bazzill paper. Love that texture!!! I used a corner rounder on the Saffron cardstock, then pierced some holes along the top. To tie on the ribbon, I used my slot punch for the holes. Told y'all I loved that Kraft taffeta!!

Sale alert: I've been out shopping with my parents all day long and we just happened to stumble across the Bath & Body Works sale. A lot of items were 60-75% off. The biggest bargain was a 10 oz. bottle of shower gel or lotion (they had a lot of different scents). Normally they run $9.50 a bottle and I got it for $2.37. Woohoo. I'll be smelling good for awhile now :)

Oooh, this is gorgeous! I have to admit, I have no clue what Koh-i-noir pencils are??? Are they different than a regular colored pencil? Do you have to use blenders or anything with them?? Beautiful layout and coloring Kim!! :D TFS!

I love this stamp set - it's a shame it came and went so fast. Your coloring is beautiful and the layout is great.
