Cherished Ornaments

One of my favorites things about Christmas is decorating our tree. I love pulling out all of the ornaments we have collected over the past few years and trying to remember where I got them or who gave them too me. I thought I would take a minute to share a few of my favs with y'all. I will cherish these 4 ornaments for as long as they last. They are very special to me. My husband proposed while we were vacationing in Germany and right away we started buying a few items that would remind us of our special trip and items that we could decorate our future home with. One day, we took a trip to an amazing village called Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is a beautiful town that is surrounded by an old wall and full of amazing architecture and wonderful little shops. Every time my family has visited Germany, we have made a trip to Rothenburg. One of our favorite shops to go into is Kathe Wohlfahrt's Christmas store! OMGoodness, your eyes just bug out the moment you enter the door. There are handmade items everywhere you look and the store is HUGE! You can easily spend hours looking at everything and trying to calculate how much money you can spend without going bankrupt. That is where we picked out these 4 little ornaments. They are hand painted and so dainty! I love the two little girls, especially since their bodies are made out of natural items. They are definitely my favorites. The little deer now reminds me of my dog Nala, LOL. I always place these 4 scattered across the front of my tree so I can easily spot them. I so wish we would have bought more. If you get a chance check out the link to the store and also the link to the town, there are some great photos on there! Look at your tree and do a little reminiscing today!!!
