Felt Carrots

My obsession with felt food has begun. It happened late one night while I was perusing Pinterest and just so happened to stumbled across a board full of felt food inspiration. My eyes lit up and I immediately begin pinning my favorites. You can find some amazing creations of Etsy that look very real, but I thought it would be more special if I made them myself. There are a ton of free tutorials out there and I have spent weeks hunting them all down. I got together with my mom a few weeks ago and we tackled our first felt project - carrots. I love how they turned out!!! I made a bunch so I can put them in Charlotte's Easter basket this year. We recently purchased a play kitchen made out of wood that we will be repainting to give her for her birthday. I hope to have a variety of food to stock it with when we are all through. I'll be sure to share my creations as they get made. If you happen to run across any patterns that I don't have, please be sure to send them my way!!!

These are fabulous, Kim. I can't wait to see the rest of the food you make. I looked at the ideas that you pinned and was amazed at what can be made with felt. Charlotte is going to have so much fun.
