Beary Big Hugs

I have another card to share with you today using a Belles 'n Whistles stamp (thanks Mrs. Ford :). This one is called Beary Big Hugs. I use to collect bears when I was younger so I really love this image! It's super sweet and fun to color. Look I even made her a blond - that doesn't happen to often, I always reach for browns when I color hair. I added a few highlights with a Sharpie Poster-Paint pen. Several people have contacted me about this fabulous little pen. I purchase mine from Merri Artist! Look, I even pulled out my Cuttlebug folders again and used Distressed Stripes. I love the texture the embossing adds to a card, just have to remember to use them more often. The flowers and leaves were punch out and the edges were sponged with Close to Cocoa to make them stand out more. Hope you are staying warm and dry in your neck of the woods. We have a big cold front blowing through and it has been pouring all day.

I have been following your ideas for my creations especially the flowers. I find it so cute for a card to have flowers in it.
