Chinook & Color Me Red

Have you checked out the new Whipper Snapper stamps that were released on Monday! I still have quite a few samples left to show you. So sit back and enjoy. This little guy's name is Chinook. Don't you just want to squish him? He's short, round, happy and definitely huggable. He can be used all Winter long to send warm wishes to your family and friends. I decided to use him as a thank you card. The sentiment reads: Thank you so much. The background was lightly sponged with Tempting Turquoise ink to help make him pop.

This sweet image on this card is called Color Me Red. The little birds are so cute bundled up for Winter. I added some highlights to their cheeks with a Sharpie pen and the design on their bellies is done with the Copic blender pen. When I saw them staring at each other, this sentiment came to mind. Of course, I had to make them some mistletoe to stand under after that! I followed this tutorial to make the flowers. I also followed Mojo 103 for the layout.

Aww, cute! You always add so much to the layouts and I love the "mistletoe" and the design on the birds, looks great! I was shocked on who won Top Chef!!! Since it couldn't be the 3rd place person, I was hoping for the other guy, oh well! You should be here, it's 1*! :) ~Hugs
