The Raven

"And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting ..."
Sorry, I felt the urge to quote Edgar Allan Poe while making this card. This is Rachel's kit. I was stuck when it came to this image - there was nothing to color!!! I thought about sponging the background at first, but then decided to do the Cracked Glass technique. It's been awhile since I played around with UTEE and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. The cracks really turned out well and helped give the card that extra spooky, Halloween vibe. It's hard to see in the photo, but I placed little crystals in each corner. I followed this SFYTT that I found over on Jen's blog. One more day until Halloween. Are your goblins ready for some Trick-or-Treatin' ? Be sure to swoop by and check out what the other gals did with this kit: Anna, Debbie, Rachel and Tammi

Stamps: Crow Gate (Inkadinkado), Spooktacular (TAC)
Paper: Basic Grey Eerie, DCWV Textured card, Basic Black, Vanilla
Ink: Palette Noir, Perfect Plum, Versamark, Close to Cocoa
Other: Labels 3 Nestie, UTEE, sponge, Michael's ribbon, Ribbon Tag Nestie, Prima gems
