Wise Owl

Have y'all been playing along with the Mojo celebrations as they turn 100 this week? They have been sharing so many fabulous sketches every day. I decided to play along with the Day 4 sketch provided by Sarah Bigelow. I have a few nephews with birthdays coming up so I thought I better come up with some boy cards since they are always a challenge for me. I pulled out my Wise Owl set from Papertrey Ink - such a fun set to play with!!! I stamped all of the different parts on cardstock, cut them out and pieced my little owl together. He is raised with dimensionals. I love how he pops off that middle panel. If you look at the Kiwi cirlce, I inked up the leaf stamp with VersaMark just to give the background a slight design. This card is full of texture - from the pattern on the Bazzill orange cardstock to the Embossed Baja strip. I think it will be perfect for one of my lil' dudes!! Be sure to stop back by on Monday. Anna Wight is releasing 3 new sets through Whipper Snapper and just wait until you see them!!!!!!! Have a wonderful weekend.

Stamps: Wise Owl (Papertrey Ink)
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Orange Bazzill, Basic Grey Offbeat
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber, VersaMark
Other: circle Nesties, dimensional, corner rounder, Forest Branches Cuttlebug Folder, Pumpkin Pie grosgrain, scorer
