August Whipper Snapper release!!!
Anna Wight is releasing 3 new cling sets with Whipper Snapper today! They are all fabulous. I had such a fun time coming up with some samples and I can't wait to see what the Featured Designers came up with. So lets get to it! Up first is Farm Fresh. Talk about endless possibilities. This set has a ton of different images. I used 5 on this card. I started by stamping the cow and chicken farmer, then masked them off and added the hay. I also stamped a tiny bird on the cow. I colored everything in with Copics and added a few dots with a Sharpie Poster-Paint pen. The cow's head and the farmer are raised with dimensionals. I used my Janome Sew Mini to add some stitching around the Kraft panel. My husband said it reminded him of the label on the back of Wranglers :) I followed this sketch that I found over on the Mojo blog.
Stamps: Farm Fresh (Whipper Snapper)
Paper: Kraft, Basic Grey Marrakech, TAC white, Night of Navy
Ink: Memento Black
Other: Copics, rectangle Nestie, corner rounder, dimensionals, ribbon from Michael's, Sharpie Poster-Paint pen, Janome Sew mini, scallop scissors, button, white Scrapper's Floss (TAC)
Copics: E31, 33, 35, 37, 51, 53, R24, 27, B21, 23, Y15, 17, 26
Next up, is Singing Cowboy. How cute is this little guy in his chaps and huge belt buckle? I love the sentiments that come with this set and I had Home on the Range stuck in my head all day after using this one. I even caught my husband humming it at one point, LOL. I ended up using 6 different stamps on this card. I started by stamping the guitar out. I then masked it off and added the cowboy. Everything is colored in with Copics. I added Marigold Shimmerz to the bird's orange belly and the star on his buckle. The guitar base is raised with a dimensional - of course. I always have to pop something up :) I added some faux stitching along the Pumpkin strip with a paper piercer and the Sharpie Poster-Paint pen. Is this sketch not the cutest? It was a challenge over on SCS!
Stamps: Singing Cowboy (Whipper Snapper)
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, TAC white, Bo Bunny
Ink: Memento Black, Palette Burnt Umber
Other: Copics, dimensional, paper piercer, Sharpie Poster-Paint pen, Marigold Shimmerz, brads, Chocolate polytwill

Last, but certainly not least is Turkey Time. Can you smell the fresh baked pumpkin pie and smoked turkey? Oh my goodness - I love Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday so I went nuts when I saw this set. How cute are these pilgrims? I used 6 different stamps on this card. I started by stamping the dog, then masked him off and went crazy from there, LOL. I couldn't decide which image to use so I just kept adding to my scene! Let me tell ya, Anna's sets are perfect for creating little scenes! The images are super easy to mask off too! I colored in some parts with Copics and paper pieced the rest in. The pie top, dog head, and turkey leg are all (you guessed it) raised with dimensionals. I followed this sketch from SCS for the layout. So what do y'all think? Cute sets right!! Be sure to swing by and check out the other samples.
