Polka Dot Challenge

This week's Jacksonbelle Embellishment challenge is all about polka dots!!! Simply make a card or project that has polka dots on it. When uploading your card to SCS, please use the keyword JBE055.


Whooooo doesn't love polka dots!!! They instantly cheer any card up whether they are on paper, ribbon or even your image. I choose to use this fabulous Pink Paislee paper called Lunch Hour. I love the huge pink dots and it has almost a weathered fence feel to it. I colored Tweet-ie in with Copics, then went over all the pink with Bubble Gum Shimmerz. Yes - it's a very sparkly pink owl!! I ran the Baja Breeze strips through the Cuttlebug with the Forest Branches folder. I just realized that I must love this combo. A few weeks ago I used a Tweet-ies image with Shimmerz and the Forest Branches folder on this card. Hmmm, guess that wasn't so original after all, LOL. I really love piercing holes at the bottom leading up to a sentiment. It's a great way to slightly decorate an empty space and it works great with small fonts! I followed Mojo Monday 88 for the layout. Man I wish I could come up with fabulous sketched like this on my own. Debbie thanks again for the cute Tweet-ies - I've enjoyed playing with them lately!
