Butter Baked Chicken & Gravy

I only tried out 1 new recipe this week, but I still wanted to share it with y'all. Does anyone get the Cooking with Paula Deen magazine? My mom got a subscription last year and I was always borrowing her copies. So this past Christmas she surprised me with my own subscription and I'm so happy she did. I always find a ton of recipes to save in each edition and they are all easy too! Thursday I tried her recipe for Butter Baked Chicken and Gravy. Did you read that in your best Paula Deen voice? Talk about comfort food. The chicken was super tender and the gravy was creamy and thick! I'll definitely make it again. Although next time, I think I might add some mushrooms to the gravy. I served it over a bed of rice with Roasted Asparagus on the side. Don't hesitate to try a new recipe this week. If it's good, be sure to come back here and share it with me!!

Yum! Guess what we're having for dinner tonight, w/o the asparagus though! We'll be having green beans...and adding those mushrooms...I'm so hungry! :) TFS
