Ever wonder.....

Have you ever wondered what Celery Shimmerz looks like? Have you ever wondered what Celery Shimmerz looks like on blue jeans? I'm happy to report that Shimmerz shows up very well on fabric! No, I'm not trying to be creative here. I just dropped over half a bottle of Celery Shimmerz down my leg. Go ahead and giggle - mom stop giggling that hard!!! It was one of those moments that happened in slow mo. I saw it slip out of my fingers, bounce off the front of my chair, smear down my leg (from my knee to my toes) and then splatter all over the floor. I sat there stunned for a moment and then started hysterically giggling. This is what happens when you give a klutz an open bottle of any kind of liquid. Yes I am that klutz - I drop things all the time. My first thought was shoot I just started using that bottle, it was full and I loved it - perfect color for the Spring. Then I decided I should probably check to make sure it didn't get on the carpet. Thank goodness that didn't happen. I don't know how Ross would have felt about that - we already have a melted line mark on our carpet from my embossing gun :) So my jeans are now in the wash. We'll see if it comes out. Thankfully I have one of those plastic mats under my office chair so it wiped right up. I do however have 2 green dots on my chair where it bounced off. I tried cleaning it, but it just smeared the sparkles deeper into the fabric. What's a craft room without sparkles huh? So next time you used Celery Shimmerz please think about me and I advice you to keep a good grip on the bottle. FYI, it does come out of blue jeans :)
