New Stuff Challenge

It's Tuesday and time for another Jacksonbelle Embellishment Challenge. Now there is no excuse for your to skip this challenge. It's super easy. We are still celebrating the beginning of a new year and we want you to help us celebrate by using your new stuff! Told ya it's simple. Just make a card using any new goodies that you have received recently! I chose to use this owl image from the Inkadinkado set called Birds Galore. I got it right before Christmas and used it to make this card (which I LOVED by the way), but I've been waiting to ink up the little owl. I think he is super cute. I stamped him out twice so I could raise his little head with a dimensional and add some googly eyes. I also stamped and cut out some leaves and berries to add some color to the image. I went over the berries with Patina Stickles. Oh my - I love that color. It's very shimmery. I added Basic Grey Eva brads to the corners. The vanilla cardstock is also raised with a dimensional. This is my first time using the October Afternoon paper. I'm in love!!! The colors are fabulous and it really has great detail to it. Like this wood grain strip.
