Honey Bees Sketch

I finally inked up my Honey Bees set and I want to use it on everything now! The images are too cute and so easy to use. I think my favorite is the little honeycomb stamp that I used in the background. I think it's because I LOVE honey. This card was for Sketch Challenge 206. I was a little leery about the sketch at first, but now I really like it. Already added it to my sketch book for future reference. This is the first time I've used this color combo too. It's so cheery. Definitely works perfectly with the sentiment. I actually used Summer Sun as my only yellow ink. It looks different on both cardstocks. I like that it gave a very subtle image of the honeycomb. I actually completed this card last night, but had to wait for my big bee to dry. After stamping it out, I covered all the black in Black Diamond Stickles. That is one glittery bee! He is raised with a dimensional too. The tiny flowers are cut out and glued on top of the bigger flowers. I also added a lot of faux stitching around the edges. Thanks for stoppin' by today!

Stamps: Honey Bees (Papertrey Ink) Paper: TAC White, Basic Black, Summer Sunrise (PTI), Lemon Tart (PTI) Ink: Palette Noir, Summer Sun Other: 1 1/4" circle punch, circle Coluzzle, Black Diamond Stickles, Mat Pack, Paper piercer, Black marker, Lemon Tart Twill (PTI)
