New Year’s Eve gives some people the hope of a new beginning, a fresh start, the BIRTH of a NEW DAY!!!! Lindsey’s BIRTHDAY is January 4th so in celebration of the New Year AND Lindsey’s Birthday, make a Birthday card!!!

This is the final challenge of the night. How do you make a birthday card for a stamp diva's birthday? I wanted something with rich colors and I definitely wanted to pay attention to all the small details. I started by using Taylor's Cupcake Challenge 48. The layout was perfect and it sure is a keeper!! For my rich colors, I choose Basic Grey Eva papers. It's cheery enough for a birthday card, but still very elegant. That strip under the button is actually a really deep deep purple. Did you know that Basic Grey also makes stamps!!! I love this new set called Granola Bitsy Lotus . I inked it up with VersaMagic Perfect Plumeria and stamped it out twice. The top petals were cut out and raised with a dimensional. 
I also add a Basic Grey Eva brad. Don't you love it when everything matches perfectly :) I stamped some leaves with VersaMagic Hint of Pesto and added some faux stitching along the edges. I dug the button out of my stash and attached it with white Scrapper's Floss. Can y'all tell that I luff Basic Grey paper? I used it on every challenge card tonight.
