Dawn's Light

Dawn's Light (A Restoration Novel) Dawn's Light by Terri Blackstock

My review

rating: 4 of 5 stars
Book 4 in the Restoration series.

There is a lot going on in the last book of this series. The pulses have finally come to an end. Craig is back in town working on restoring the electricity and winning Deni back. She is caught in the middle and has to decide who she wants to marry; Craig or Mark. Both men love her, but both will offer her totally different lives. Meanwhile, Beth witnesses a murder and keeps it to herself to protect the safety of her family. This causes a huge mystery throughout the entire book that was very well written and had many surprising twist. It also puts the Branning family through the ultimate test of faith. I'm happy with how the book ended, even if it did have a very bittersweet moment. It contains a great lesson on believing God does in fact have a plan for our lives, even if he doesn't answer our prayers the way we want him to. It also teaches that hardships happen in our lives for a reason and it's up to us to decide to go back to our everyday life unchanged, or take what we've learned and grow from it.
