Inspiration Hooty Owl

Did y'all see Kristina's Color Inspiration today? It's fabulous. I never would have thought to put this color combo together. Especially the Ballet Blue, but that color just made everything pop! I dug out my Q.T. Hooty Owl Stamps and decided to use this image. All of the owls in that set are adorable, but this one is uber cute plus it cracks me up! I stamped her with Palette Noir, then colored her in with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. The little flower is cut out and raised with a dimensional and I added a Ruby Red brad to her hat. The main image is cut out and embossed with Nestabilities. I've finally learned how to get a good embossed image, took me awhile, but I'm glad I learned because I love what it adds to the image. The Ruby Red piece was embossed with the Distressed Stripes folder. I was going to pierce some holes in a line before the sentiment, but I glued it down before I remembered, LOL. Oops. I do that a lot! Kristina thanks for the wonderful inspiration and thanks to everyone who stopped by today!

Stamps: Q.T. Hooty Owl Stamps (Pink Cat Studio), A Muse sentiment
Paper: Ballet Blue, White (TAC), SU Print Sampler, Ruby Red, So Saffron
Ink: Palette Noir
Other: Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug folder, Lg. Classic & Scallop Square Nestabilitites, Koh-i-noor pencils, OMS, dimensional, Ruby Red brad, Celery grosgrain, scallop scissors

What a colorful card, so pretty!!
I love all the details....and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks of something to do to a card but then forgets it until it's glued down.
