Sparkly Eiffel Tower

Talk about challenges galore. I combined three challenges for this card. First off, I was chatting with my friend Tammi yesterday about the A Muse ovals. I mentioned that I haven't inked mine up in awhile and she nonchalantly said that should be a challenge for us this weekend. So I took her up on that. Thanks for the suggestion Tammi, you even got me to ink up my new Eiffel tower stamp! I also followed Julee's Mojo Sketch Challenge #52 and this week's Color Throwdown. My rectangles were cut out and embossed using Nestabilities. The Eiffel Tower is stamped with Palette Noir. I then created a mask and stamped my little oval underneath it. A little tip, my mask was off a tad and it left a little white area along the base. So I just took my Niji Waterbrush, picked up some ink off of the stamp pad and filled in the spaces. Worked like a charm. Then I colored in the flag and tiers with SU markers and then outlined the spokes with a Sakura Stardust pen. It's nice and shimmery! The whole image is raised with a dimensional. I ran the red cardstock through the Cuttlebug using the Distressed Stripes folder. Debbie thanks for the pattern paper!! Have a great weekend.

ETA: I just found out this qualifies for a 4th challenge. Jeannie over on the A Muse Addicts forum posted a weekly challenge called Essential Ovals last Friday. She asked us to make a card with an oval on it.

Stamps: Eiffel Tower, Mini Oval Bl, sentiment (A Muse)
Paper: White, Real Red, Piggy Tales (Chicken Little Collection, double sided)
Ink: Palette Noir , Brocade Blue (stamped off once)
Other: red grosgrain, small oval punch, Lg. Classic Rectangle Nestabilities, dimensional, Sakura Stardust pen, Not Quite Navy brads, Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug folder

Not the type of image I'd normally like, but I love what you did.
As usual you have the greatest patterned paper!
Great job!
