Edie's Pie

OMGosh do y'all remember me??? I'm going through major withdrawals from not posting on here. I do apologize for no new samples. I'm almost done with that secret project I've been working on. Fingers crossed that it is completed on Wed. Then things will get back to normal. It's killing me that I can't show y'all what I've been working on! In other news, I want to point out that I added a new link under the Wanna Shop section over on the right. I was given permission to post a link to my TAC website. I am a demo for The Angel Company and I do have a secure website where you can look at and order TAC products. So now when I make a card using their stuff, I can add a link so you can check it out as well!!!

I wanted to share two new recipes that I've tried out recently. Girls gotta eat when she is stamping like a madwoman you know! First off, last Thursday I made Rachel Ray's Spinach Fettucine Primavera. It was Yumm-o! We really liked the carrot and zucchini ribbons in it. The sauce was very light and the white wine gave it such a great flavor. I couldn't find spinach fettucine at my grocery store, but I did find organic spinach spaghetti so that is what we went with. Definitely be making this again!

My mom's birthday was this past weekend. We went home to celebrate with her and hang out for a few days; relaxing in the country. We had a wonderful visit and I so want a Canasta rematch!!! On Saturday, we had a BBQ and for dessert I tried a new pie recipe. Edie posted this Raspberry Lemon Pie the other day. It was very good. The base reminded me of key lime pie, only it was lemon. I really liked the raspberry layer too. It wasn't sweet at all, but added a nice flavor to the pie. This was another great one to end the summer with. Thanks Goober!
