Whooo's #1
Happy 8-8-08! I love cool dates like that. I have another little card to share real quick. I basically cased this card that I made the other day. It uses one of Julee's fabulous sketches. I just love this layout and it worked perfectly for the images I wanted to use! My owl is stamped with Palette Burnt Umber. I cut the White and Chocolate circle with the Coluzzle and the Celery circle with the Magic Matter. Since I used the Coluzzle for the main image, I was able to lay the circle template right on top and cut up to the flag, the I just cut around it so it extends over the circles. He is colored in using my Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. The #1 on his shirt is covered with Crystal Effects to make it stand out more. To create the faux piercing, I took my mat pack and paper piercer and punched some holes along the top. Then I connected them using a Chocolate Chip marker. Like I said quick and easy but cute and fun. I just love those big ol' owl eyes! It's kind of a fitting card for the beginning of the Olympics too! Have a great day!
