It's Your Critter Day

If you are not a fan club member on SCS, then you are missing out on some great inspiration. On the 15th of every month, the Dirty Dozen post pages and pages of cards/projects in the fan club gallery. They also post several challenges for everyone to play along with. I decided to give the sketch challenge a try this month because it was a super cute layout. My image is cut out using Lg. Classic Nestabilities. I colored it in with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. I added Crystal Effects to the dripping candle wax! The sentiment is raised with a dimensional. I tried to keep the accessories simple, so it wouldn't take aways from the adorable main image. As I was downloading pictures, I stumbled across this one that I took Sunday morning. Ross surprised me with breakfast for our anniversary and it was a yummy surprise. There is a family owned Mexican restaurant down the road from us and every time we pass it on our way to church, we see a line of people standing outside. That is always a good sign if you ask me! So Ross woke up early and rushed down there. He came home with homemade taquitos, that were so good, and this delicious cake roll. I LOVED the shredded coconut on top. I use to always order this back when we were dating. We would meet for breakfast before school about twice a week, so it was really sweet that he remembered that. Thanks for stopping by!
