In the Jungle ...

The mighty Jungle, the lion sleeps tonight. Dang I'm going to have that song stuck in my head all day now. Yes, I do own the Lion King soundtrack :) It's Wild Wednesday! For today's Lostie Chatapalooza Challenge, Kris asked us to make a kid's card with a wild theme. This TAC set, Wild For You, immediately came to mind. I don't think I've ever inked up this little guy, but I was flippin' through the new TAC catty, for the millionth time, and I saw a sample where someone layered his mane. I made a mental note to try it out. It's a good thing the challenge came up today because I have a bad memory, LOL. I stamped the lion in Creamy Caramel twice and one in Close to Cocoa. I cut the Cocoa mane out and the Caramel face and glued those together, then raised them with a dimensional. The nose and tail are colored in with a Close to Cocoa marker. I also dotted the eyes with a Chocolate Chip marker. I really love this color combo. It's just so happy and cheerful. The Summer Sun cardstock is stamped with the Canvas background in the same color. I sponged the edges of the Pumpkin Pie cardstock and Creamy Caramel strip with Close to Cocoa ink. To finish it off, I tied on some Pumpkin grosgrain and added a Pumpkin photo corner. To view everyone's cards click here. Check out this fabulous blog candy from Starving Artistamps. Those sentiments crack me up!!!! Happy Stamping!!!

I am a TAC demo. If you have any question or would like to look at my website where you can view or order our products, just let me know!
