Santa Was Here

Look it's Buddy and Jovie from the movie The Elf :) This is the gift card holder that I came up with. I started by using this sketch challenge. Rhonda thanks for the background paper and sentiment set. It worked perfectly for this project. I've had so much fun playing with this adorable image this Christmas. All of the blue is covered with Stickles because elves should be sparkly and happy!! I also went around the edges of the red circle with Stickles. I normally would have never used a pastel color with bold brights, but it actually worked. I didn't use too much of the blue so I think that helped. Did you see the faux stitching on the blue cardstock? I swear that is one of my favorite techniques to do. To make the slot for the gift card to tuck in, I just used my word window punch and kept punching the ends until my GC fit. That about it. I'm going shopping with a good friend tomorrow so and I know that we will have a blast. Hope y'all have a wonderful day as well! Hugs and thanks for stopping by.

Stamps: Mistletoe Pixies (Stampendous), Canvas, Studio G
