Okay how many of y'all are singing that now :) So I was browsing blogs this morning when out popped a sweet new challenge. Sweet because it's a great inspiration challenge, but also because it is by Sweet Miss Daisy - Anna Wight. Click here to view her fantabulous blog and to see the photo of the plate she posted as inspiration. I love sunflowers (can you tell) so I was super excited to take this challenge on. My flower image was done with stamps from Delight in Life. Just a bunch of watercoloring with my SU markers, cutting and layering. All things I love to do! After I pieced my flower together, I added some white highlights with my gel pen and a dot of copper Stickles in the center. I took a piece of Creamy Caramel and sponged it with Close to Cocoa, then did the edges with Chocolate Chip. After adhering my bloom to it, I highlighted the edges with my aquapainter and Chocolate Chip. It's hard to see, but the top half of the Summer Sun has the Flannel Plaid bg stamped on it. I just love how this turned out. Definitely makes me smile. Thanks for the challenge Anna!
Stamps: Delight in Life, Crackle (TAC), Flannel Plaid, You are my sunshine (Wordsworth)
Paper: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, Garden Green, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, watercolor paper from Walmart

Other: corner rounder, copper Stickles, Old Olive brads, ribbon from Archiver's, white gel pen, aquapainter, word window punch, mat pack/piercer.
Markers used on flower: Summer Sun, More Mustard, Really Rust, Old Olive, Garden Green, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip.
