Gina K. cabin

I can't believe the holidays are right around the corner. We have neighbors that already have their Christmas lights up and going..Eek. My stack of Christmas cards is slowly growing and it's definitely going to double now because I ordered a new set from Gina K and it arrived just in time! I love the new little tins she puts them. I also love love love this cabin image and it's one of the main reasons I picked this set. The sentiments that come with it are adorable too.. especially the one for the inside of the card. I started by using this sketch from Maria. Can you tell that I love her layouts!! I think this is my favorite color combo for Christmas cards this year. To help my sparkly snow stand out more on the white, I masked the cabin and used my dauber to sponge a Bashful Blue sky. Can you see the snow stamped on the blue? It looks just like frost...cuz you know I haven't seen too much snow here in Tx, LOL. I'm predicting that y'all are going to see a lot of samples with this set in the next few weeks :) Guess what Ross ordered me last night. A camera..WooHoo! I can't wait, should get here on Friday, then I have to learn how to use it. Have a wonderful day and Happy Stamping!!!

Stamps: Let is Snow (Gina K.), Flannel Plaid
Paper: Always Artichoke, white, Ruby Red, Bashful Blue
Ink: Noir (Palette, TAC), Bashful Blue, Really Rust
Other: sponge dauber, Ruby Red brads, Stardust Stickles, Artichoke grosgrain
Technique: Masking

Great color combo. I love your card. It looks so inviting. I live in CA so I don't get snow either. We moved here 4 years ago from MN where I had more snow than I needed.

I came upon your blog while I was blog hopping. Super cute stuff. I am also into photography.
