Black Friday Color Challenge

Is everyone stuffed from yesterday? Did anyone wake up early and hit the stores at the crack of dawn? We are about to head out and start shopping with my parents. I'll let ya know if I find any good deals. Today is also a huge football day for Texans! A&M and University of Texas will have their annual rivalry game starting soon. Everyone here in Austin will be wearing burnt orange since they are UT colors. Me, I'm wearing maroon (A&M colors) so I might get some nasty stares while we are out and about. In my defense, it's not an A&M shirt, but a SWT shirt..my alma mater. I am an Aggie fan though. I was able to finish a quick card for this week's color challenge. It's hard for me to do a card with only 2 colors so it was definitely a challenge. Notice I stuck with a small card! This is for a little girl from church who is turning 2 in December. I thought I would leave ya with a photo from yesterday. The kids gathered around and did the cutest project before we ate. They made these turkeys out of rice krispie treat balls, oreos, white icing, and candy corn. They had a blast and I thought they turned out adorable. Happy Black Friday!

Stamps: Turtle Flower's (Inky Antics), Happy Birthday to You (A Muse)
Paper: Pretty in Pink, white, Wild Wasabi, SU Slumber Party
Other: scallop scissors, button brads, Stardust Stickles, grosgrain

Whoop! How 'bout them Aggies? : )

Your card is totally adorable, and the little girl will love the sparkly turtle shell and the color combination.

The rice crispy turkeys turned out really cute.
