Wild West Anya

Before I get to the card, I have a special request to ask of all of you. Tonight at 10, Ross' cousin Jordan will be receiving a wonderful gift: a bone marrow transplant. Please keep him, his family, his doctors and especially his wonderful donor in your thoughts and prayers! You can click here to read more about Jordan's story.

I made this card for Taylor's Sketch Challenge. It was such a cute layout that I just couldn't pass it up. I love the different panels, shapes and the little scallops at the bottom. I can't believe that this was my first time to ink up the little Wild West Anya. She is so dark cute - I so love her little braids! I colored her in with Copics, added some highlights and patterns with a Sharpie pen. I went over her vest and hat with Green Olive Shimmerz. I saw this ribbon treatment tutorial over on Nichole's fabulous blog and decided to give it a try. I'll definitely be trying that again!! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a fabulous weekend!!!

Pretty colors and I love that wavy edge and Texas hugs! Will keep them in my prayers Kim, wow, 1 perfect match out of 1 mill. It's amazing, as you know my uncle had a transplant and he's doing so well now. They'll be in my thoughts. ~Hugs

Adorable, Kim! I can't believe you haven't used her yet, being from TX! I hope Jordan's surgery went well, and hope there's a speedy recovery to him and his doner!
