Riley Sketch

I love Riley - he just make me giggle and this image is one of my favs since I'm a huge bookworm. I made this for a family friend who recently loaned my husband and I a few books to read. I followed Hanna Sketch Challenge 54 for the layout. The circles are cut out and embossed with Nesties. Riley is colored in with Koh-i-noor pencils. I cut out his hands holding the book and raised it with a dimensional. To finish it off, I added some Stardust Stickles to give the image some sparkles. The pattern paper is by October Afternoon - my new favorite paper line! I just love the rich assortment of colors on this sheet. I even decorated the inside of the card a bit. Seems to be "the thing to do" these days. I kept it simple and just pulled out the spiral punch to added a little decoration. Oh and if you are wanting to learn how to tie a knot or bow, check out Amy's video tutorial. That's pretty much how I do mine and she has some great tips. Thanks for stopping by today!!
