Warm Happiness

This card is for Sketch Challenge 201 and Color Challenge 191. The colors immediately made me think of Christmas. Not quite sure why I thought of making a coffee card though because it almost 7 p.m. here and it's still 80˚ outside. UGH!!! I'm wishing for much cooler weather!!! I guess my coffee will have to be a peppermint mocha frappuccino :) Gotta keep things on ice here in Texas, LOL. I actually had this set sitting on my desk just begging to be inked up. The mug is stamped on Riding Hood Red with Palette Burnt Umber. I stamped the lines with Palette New Canvas and then cut the mug out. It is raised with a dimensional! The little oval was inked in Old Olive, stamped off once on scratch paper and then stamped on the Very Vanilla. I inked up the edges of the Photo Corner punch with Close to Cocoa and then attached a Ruby Red button on with brown Scrapper's Floss. The pink panel was embossed with the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug folder. I thought it matched the stripes on the mug. I poked some holes along the edge of the Kiwi paper and then added some faux stitching with a Chocolate Chip marker. Guess it's time to go turn the fan on. Thanks for stopping by!

Super cute! Love the button on the cornor punch. I need to use my stripes CB folder again! I love peppermint mocha fraps too! My favorite! Did you know CFA has a new shake out? Peppermint chocolate! It's PINK! Has peppermint flavor shots in it, and ground up candy canes, and chocolate pieces! Yummy!
