Kris' '08 Winter Kit

Have you ever put a card together and then totally ruined it right at the end? That is what happened to me on this card, LOL. I had everything glued down and forget to add a sentiment. So I went to stamp it on there and it was totally croocked and I caught the edge of the stamp and it left a line. Not pretty. So I slowly pulled everything off, cut off my botched job and reworked it. I'm relieve I saved it because I really love this card. I giggled so much when I saw this image that Kris sent. I had a blast coloring it. I added white liquid applique to their hats and highlighted them with a Pastel Blue marker from Tombow. I was a tad stumped on the embossed vellum (the snowflakes). I ended up mounting it over white cardstock and sponging the edges. I followed Taylor's Cupacke Challenge 40 for the layout. To view all of the cards made with this kit, click here.

Stamps: Holiday Lineup, sentiment - A Muse
Paper: Neenah Crest Solar White, Kiwi Kiss, Soft Sky, Snowflake Vellum, Always Artichoke, Basic Grey Figgy Pudding
Ink: Brilliance Graphite, Close to Cocoa
Other: Koh-i-nor pencils, OMS, Tombow pastel blue marker, white liquid applique, white Scrapper's Floss, button, Riding Hood Red Taffeta, Marthat Stewart Snowflake punch
