Plaid Tractor Note

Who said tractors couldn't be cute? My mom got me these images for Christmas last year and I just love them. They remind me of mowing the yard growing up. We had a big yard and I thought I was cool to hop on our mower, roll my sleeves up to get some sun, and zip around the yard on the "6th" speed. One day I did mow over a newly planted tree, so after that my dad tied little ribbons on everything to help me watch where I was going! We also had a little wagon that we could haul stuff in. I hauled my dog Blinky. She liked going fast too :) But our tractor wasn't nearly as cute as this one! I stamped my imaged with Palette Noir on the white and the pattern papers. Yep, the hay, wagon and tractor are all paper pieced on! I drew a little ground in with a Micron pen, then colored it in with a Garden Green watercolor crayon using my Niji waterbrush. The hay is raised with a dimensional. It's been awhile since I used my slit punch, so I put it to good use today. To decorated it up a bit, I added an eyelet and tied on some sheer yellow ribbon. I used sketch challenge 166 for the layout. Simple, yet cute!! I have to share this next picture with y'all. Ross came home last night wanting a salad for dinner. Supposedly, there is this really good Cobb salad at his work. He got it last week and I guess was just craving it again. So I told him to go for it. He totally blew me away with what he put together. Look how nicely he arranged it all too. It included: lettuce, eggs, avocado, broccoli, carrots, cucumber, crumbed turkey bacon, sliced mushrooms, feta cheese and tomatoes. It was sooooo good! We also had sliced mangos with it. I think we are going to add this to our favorite list; definitely wouldn't mind having it again!

Stamps: Tractor, Hay wagon, Sushi (all from A Muse)

That is just adorable! How right you are that tractors can be adorable! Haha never saw that one coming! The plaid ties it in perfectly.

I know, it's sad about Mr. Milich. And thank you, I certainly hope that the card helps him out during this tough time.
