Kickin' Mojo Style

Julee posted another fabulous sketch design for today's Mojo Monday Challenge! This was a perfect excuse for me to use my Oval Nestabilities - for some reason I don't use ovals that much for my main images; especially when it is turned this direction. So it was a great challenge for me to tackle. I got this adorable Penny Black image from my friend Tammi (thanks sweetie!). I colored it in with my Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. To punch up the shading a bit, I went over the flowers and hammock with Twinkling H2Os using my Niji Waterbrush. On the flowers I used Pink Azalea and on the hammock I used Sky Blue. It gave it a nice sparkle too. My main image is cut out using Classic Oval Large and Classic Scallop Oval Large Nestabilities. I ran the Sky Blue piece through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder. All of the corners are rounded with a punch. The brads are Glitter Gumdrops by Imaginisce. Once I had everything glued down, the top looked bare. To solve that problem, I created a hole using my Slot Punch and tied 3 ribbons on. This really was a fun and different sketch to play with. I can't wait to see how everyone else used it! Happy Stamping.

Stamps: Kickin' (Penny Black), Sending you sunshine (A Muse)
Paper: Purely Pomegranate, Sky Blue, River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Wild Wasabi
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber (TAC, TT-218)
Other: Classic Oval Lg. & Classic Scallop Oval Lg. Nestabilities, Koh-i-noor pencils, OMS, Twinkling H2O's (Pink Azalea, Sky Blue), Niji Waterbrush (TAC,F-792), Glitter Gumdrop brads (Imaginisce), corner rounder punch, slot punch, sheer ribbon, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder
